Burhan has worked in the downstream energy business for 30 years. His areas of expertise include aviation fuels, lubricants, retail network fuel operations, petrol and supplying gasoline to industrial and marine customers.
He has held a number of high-level leadership positions at Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), where he helped the company grow, enhance its operations, and do better in business in both regional and worldwide markets.
Burhan Al Hashemi said, Emarat at an important time in its growth,” when he was named to the position. “Emarat has built a strong legacy based on reliable service, organised operations, and putting customers first.”My first aim is to improve how the company executes its strategies, boost performance and resilience, and accelerate the development of skills critical to future competitiveness, such as digital enablement, service excellence, and talent development.
Burhan will be in charge of Emarat’s strategic agenda in his new post. This will include operational excellence, customer experience, efficiency, and sustainable growth, as well as speeding up critical enablers like growing digital skills and developing talent.
