We recently had the opportunity to interview Jessica Nightingale-Ellis, Head of Global Business Development at www.trowbridgegallery.ae. Bringing over two decades of experience as a global art consultant and business developer, her passion for creating exceptional interiors is matched by her exceptional attention to detail, making her work with Trowbridge Gallery London a perfect fit.

As a renowned name in the international art scene, Trowbridge Gallery London officially launched into the Middle East market last month, January 2026. With a major commitment to engaging with the region’s vibrant and rapidly growing art community, this strategic expansion will bring a fresh and dynamic program of contemporary and traditional art to interior designers and retailers.

The Middle East launch will be marked by a series of curated online exhibitions and strategic partnerships with artists, hoteliers, interior designers, and retailers. This digital-first approach, accessible via their flagship website www.trowbridgegallery.ae will ensure immediate and seamless access for the Middle Eastern audience. As a part of the launch, the gallery will be attending relevant exhibitions and events in the region, the first of which is in Oman for the MEA Hi Design Event, from 11th to 14th February, 2026. Prior to the event, Jessica is in Dubai from 9th February to meet with prospective new clients.

Trowbridge Gallery London also has plans for a physical presence in the region, with details of retail concessions to be announced in the coming months.

With work experience spanning across continents, Jessica Nightingale-Ellis blends deep heritage in the art industry with a forward-thinking approach to international growth.

Spark Behind the Journey

We started the interview by asking, “What first inspired you to pursue your current industry or professional path, and was there a defining moment that shaped your direction?”

Jessica shared, “I always had a love for interiors, and with the skills to provide the ‘icing on the cake’ to bring it all together, I naturally chose this field. Moreover, I spent nearly a decade living in various countries across the world, which helped me develop an in-depth understanding of cultures and different lifestyles. This idea of multiculturalism has majorly shaped my current approach in the field, and I still refer to this experience while advising my clients.”

More about Trowbridge Gallery London

Interested to learn about Jessica Nightingale-Ellis’ role and the Trowbridge Gallery London brand, we asked her to share a glimpse of it.

She mentioned, “Trowbridge Gallery London offers the finest range of artwork, all hand-made in the UK. With exclusive collections ranging from signed limited editions, archival photographs, and embellished textiles, we have something to suit every need. At Trowbridge, we understand every detail counts and have a commitment to help our clients create beautiful spaces. Our handcrafted art pieces, made with the same dedication to detail and quality, reflect this vision.”

Adaptability amidst Uncertainties

Challenging phases are a part of every journey, and Jessica Nightingale-Ellis has faced the same. To understand how she overcame the tough phases, we asked, “Can you share one significant challenge you’ve faced in your career or business, and the key lesson or strategy that helped you overcome it?”

Covid proved to be one of the biggest challenges for businesses across sectors, but adaptability amidst this challenging phase was a key factor in growth. The shift in the way of work and the lessons learned along the way have shaped the way we operate today. It streamlined the process, making it even more beneficial and time-efficient for all involved.

Being able to ‘visit’ projects without always needing to board a plane has been a game-changer for clients who can take advantage of our complimentary art consultancy service as and when they need it,” she explained.

Envisioning the Growth of Tech

We then asked, “How do you see artificial intelligence and emerging technologies influencing your industry over the next 3–5 years?”

Jessica commented, “The use of AI and emerging technologies represents a huge opportunity, particularly in our sector. AI has brought with it the opportunity to become more efficient and seamless, if used as a tool and not the headline. As more AI imagery floods the market, I strongly believe ‘handmade’ and ‘authentic’ will become even more valuable, certainly for our clients.”

Evolution of Jessica Nightingale-Ellis as a Leader

To understand Jessica Nightingale-Ellis’ growth as a leader, we asked, “How has your leadership style evolved throughout your journey, and what core values guide the way you lead today?”

She replied, “Change is constant, and changing with the times has been an integral part of my journey over the years, but we, at Trowbridge, have always worked as a team and know well that individuals bring with them their own individual strengths. The individuals and their skills make Trowbridge the successful global enterprise it is today and, I trust, make us a pleasure to work with too!”
