Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday thanked President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the United Arab Emirates for hosting and supporting the latest round of trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi.
The meetings brought together representatives from the United States, Russia, and Ukraine as part of continued diplomatic efforts to encourage dialogue and explore political solutions to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
In a post on X, Zelenskyy said the Ukrainian delegation had presented its report and confirmed that the discussions in the UAE had concluded. He described the two-day engagement as a rare format, noting that it was the first time in a while that such trilateral talks had taken place. According to him, a wide range of issues were discussed, and the conversations remained constructive throughout.
Zelenskyy also shared details of the participants involved. Ukraine was represented by senior political and military officials, including Rustem Umerov and Kyrylo Budanov. The US delegation included Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, while Russia was represented by officials from its military intelligence and armed forces.
