In response to the crisis brought on by a winter storm and extreme cold that have made the suffering of displaced families worse, the UAE’s humanitarian Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 is still carrying out urgent relief operations in the Gaza Strip. Despite the difficult circumstances that residents are facing, field teams have acted quickly to provide help.
The UAE operation activated water-pumping systems pre-deployed under an emergency plan to address severe weather and enable the movement of civilians in submerged areas, as heavy rainfall swamped numerous streets and seeped into damaged tents.
The initiative provided 538 relief packs containing essential supplies, 4,280 winter jackets, and 1,189 shelter tents to displaced families during the weather-related crisis. As part of the UAE’s ongoing assistance for the Gaza Strip’s residents, 1,403 winter blankets and 5,012 winter apparel packages were also supplied.
These initiatives, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, have provided more than two years of humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza population, demonstrating the UAE’s dedication to helping the Palestinian people and easing their suffering amid persistent difficulties.
