In order to improve social cohesion and stability and fortify family ties within the Emirati community, Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has ordered the facilitation of residential grant transfers by gift among citizens, limited to spouses and first-degree relatives, in accordance with approved regulations.
Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed also approved Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Water Strategy, which will be carried out by the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy and comprise programs and pillars targeted at enhancing sector readiness and satisfying the emirate’s expanding water needs, as well as Abu Dhabi’s Healthy Living Strategy, which is supervised by the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan presided over the Abu Dhabi Executive Council meeting where these decisions were made public. The council also discussed development plans intended to address community needs and improve general quality of life, as well as updates on government projects, programs, and initiatives around the emirate.
In order to guarantee the highest standards of comfort and wellbeing for community members throughout the emirate, Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed emphasized the significance of continuing to advance development projects in accordance with approved timelines while further integrating contemporary technologies and AI solutions across all areas of government operations.
