The Executive Committee of the University of Sharjah (UoS) Alumni Association in Qatar has been inaugurated, marking the organization’s ninth worldwide chapter. This milestone shows the University’s alumni network’s global expansion and improves its academic and professional prominence.
The new chapter wants to strengthen links with alumni worldwide while also supporting the Association’s initiatives and future ambitions. The inauguration took place during a ceremony hosted by the University of Sharjah Alumni Association at the National Museum of Qatar, which approximately 150 alumni from Qatar attended and few from the UAE.
The University of Sharjah Alumni Association Office also organized a joint alumni meeting for graduates of Sharjah and Qatar University, which was sponsored by Qatar University. The University delegation, Dr. Harib Al-Jabri, Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Affairs, senior Qatar University officials, and alumni from both institutions attended the celebration.
The session included panel discussions highlighting alumni’s remarkable success stories, demonstrating how their academic and professional training helped them achieve career goals and serve their country in a variety of professions. The program also featured conversations about academic and scientific collaboration, knowledge exchange, and combined efforts in education, research, and community service.
