
Participating in the 88th GCC Health Ministers meeting, which Kuwait hosted in front of GCC Health Ministers, and the 11th meeting of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Health in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) were led by UAE Health and Prevention Minister Ahmed Bin Ali Al Sayegh.
Through the advancement of collaborative workstreams and the implementation of integrated projects, the UAE’s involvement seeks to expand Gulf health cooperation, improve collaboration and coordination among member states, and increase the effectiveness of their health systems.
The UAE’s involvement in these meetings, Ahmed Al Sayegh emphasized, is in accordance with our wise leadership’s orders to advance the shared Gulf health agenda, enhance the grade of healthcare services offered to GCC populations, and improve quality of life. Additionally, it shows a strong commitment to sustaining support for Gulf integrated projects in order to achieve more sustainable and efficient health systems.
Al Sayegh continued, The UAE places the highest priority on enhancing the GCC states’ health security through disease-prevention initiatives and the sharing of health data and expertise.” To stay abreast of the rapid changes in health innovation and cutting-edge medical technology, the UAE is committed to fostering the development of Gulf medical expertise.
