
The UAE, through its national postal operator Emirates Post, has claimed the top global spot in the Customer Service category for express mail services and earned the prestigious 2024 Gold Performance Award. The recognition was granted by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) via its Express Mail Service Cooperative (EMS).
The awards were presented ahead of the 28th Universal Postal Congress – Dubai 2025, which the UAE will host from September 8 to 19. This success clearly demonstrates the UAE’s exceptional performance in the postal sector today.
This achievement reflects the UAE’s commitment to building a world-class logistics and smart services infrastructure, reinforcing its leadership in efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The Gold Performance Award followed a rigorous evaluation of international operations, delivery timelines, compliance, and responsiveness. Emirates Post scored between 95% and 98% across all service stages, from dispatch to post-delivery support.
The milestone highlights the success of the UAE’s investments in digital transformation and customer experience. Tariq Al Wahedi, Congress Chair Designate and Group CEO of 7X, said the recognition strengthens the UAE’s global position and supports its vision for sustainable, innovative postal services under the Centennial Plan 2071.
