In Hatta, Dubai, National Guard members on patrol joined Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, for Iftar.
“I would like to express my profound gratitude to the officers and personnel of the Border Patrol during my Ramadan Iftar today with the Border Guards in Hatta,” Sheikh Hamdan said on Sunday via the X platform. The fact that they are still protecting our borders during this holy month, away from their families, is really admirable.
Sheikh Hamdan continued by expressing his deep admiration for everyone who puts up endless effort to guarantee the country’s security, the continuation of its services, and the UAE’s continued status as a symbol of stability and prosperity.
After touring the region and assessing the operational capabilities of armed units stationed in the border regions, Sheikh Hamdan engaged with troops. Sheikh Hamdan met with National Guard members during his visit, greeted them for Ramadan, and received information about their plans for the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Sheikh Hamdan expressed gratitude to the community and leadership for the military’s defense of the nation’s boundaries, praising their unwavering commitment to defending the country and its accomplishments.
