
The Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, paid a visit to the 17th International Defence Exhibition (IDEX 2025) on Wednesday. The current edition is the biggest in the event’s history, with major military leaders, international defence corporations, and influential industry decision-makers participating.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasised the UAE’s defence industries’ noteworthy advancements during the tour, highlighting how they support the leadership’s goal of creating key sectors. Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that improving defence readiness is essential to guaranteeing that development initiatives proceed without hindrance, thus reaffirming the UAE’s dedication to fostering peace. Additionally, he underlined that having deterrent force is a crucial requirement for preserving peace and security worldwide.
Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Chairman of Dubai Airports, the President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and the Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, Mohamed Bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, the Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and Major General Mubarak Saeed Bin Gafan Al Jabri, the Deputy Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee for IDEX and NAVDEX .
