An Emirati man in his thirties was fatally stabbed on Wednesday in the Al Suyoh neighborhood, and Sharjah Police are looking into the incident. At 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, Sharjah Police’s operations room got a complaint that a 27-year-old Emirati had been stabbed in the Al Suyoh neighbourhood.
A young man was discovered with three stab wounds in his foot after police patrols and a national ambulance raced to the area of the event. While the offender fled the scene of the incident, he was taken to the hospital but passed away from his wounds.
Teams from Sharjah Police’s Criminal Investigation Department were able to identify and apprehend two individuals for their roles in the murder in less than twelve hours.
According to preliminary findings, the victim and two brothers—all Emiratis in their thirties. One of the two brothers used a knife to attack the victim and stab him in the foot as a result of the argument.
The offender admitted to his crime during questioning, and the remaining steps were being done to get the case file forwarded to the public prosecution for additional investigation and the appropriate legal action.
