
Austria’s capital, Vienna, was visited by Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC’s Managing Director and Group CEO. Along with Hamad Al Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Austria, he attended a number of high-level meetings with prominent members of the public and commercial sectors.
During the visit, Dr. Al Jaber met with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, to whom he extended the UAE leadership’s congratulations and best wishes for Austria’s government and people to continue advancing and thriving.
Building on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which was signed in 2021 under the auspices of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Al Jaber stated that the UAE is eager to further bilateral collaboration in areas of shared interest.
Additionally, Dr. Al Jaber met with Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Austria’s Minister for European and International Affairs. During their meeting, the two parties explored new opportunities for cooperation in key priority areas and discussed the progress of joint initiatives and projects under the strategic partnership.
The topics of discussion included strengthening diplomatic and economic connections, encouraging reciprocal investments in industries such as technology, energy, and industry, and expanding institutional links that promote sustainable growth and development, serving shared interests.
