Sheikha Jameela Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), attended the annual meeting of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation and reviewed the major figures and results of the projects and programs completed in 2024.

In addition to enabling 170 recently enrolled orphans, these initiatives helped support 2,769 orphans and 1,186 families throughout Sharjah and its surrounding regions, increasing the total number of enabled children to 2,035 by the end of the year.

Al Qasimi conveyed her gratitude for the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation’s efforts, emphasising the need to continue humanitarian endeavours that improve the lives of orphans. What the Foundation provides reflects a profound humanitarian commitment,” she remarked. These accomplishments are success stories that motivate us to keep donating, not simply numbers. Financial assistance is only one aspect of empowerment; the Foundation has effectively accomplished capacity building and self-confidence enhancement through its many programs.

The Foundation’s Director-General, Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, thanked Sheikha Jameela for attending the meeting and affirmed that the accomplishments are in line with the Foundation’s mission to empower children and their families, which is motivated by the leadership and assistance of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council.
