
The topic of discussion also included US President Donald Trump’s May state visit to the United Arab Emirates, during which both countries affirmed that the results demonstrated the closeness of the UAE-US relationship and their shared determination to strengthen collaboration and broaden partnership across all domains.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasised that the US is still a vital strategic ally and commended the UAE’s long-standing strategic alliance with the US. He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to cooperating with the US to further expand this unique partnership, which will create greater wealth and sustainable development for both countries and their peoples.
During a business visit to the US capital, Washington, DC, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Rubio greeted Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed and his entourage. The conference, which took place at the US Department of State headquarters, focused on the two nations’ strategic relationships and measures to strengthen these ties in support of their common interests.
The two ministers discussed potential areas of bilateral collaboration in a number of developmental domains, with a focus on advanced technology, artificial intelligence, science, business, and the economy.
