In order to examine the future of human space travel, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) held NASA’s Moon to Mars Architecture Workshop at the Etihad Museum in Dubai on February 25 and 26.

The workshop strengthened the UAE’s position as a strategic center for cooperation in space research and technology by bringing together leaders from important space agencies, such as NASA, ESA, CNES, JAXA, and other international partners. The workshop provided a forum for developing collaborations for non-combative space travel and directing humanity’s transition from lunar missions to sustainable Mars exploration.

To address skill gaps, coordinate strategies, and investigate cooperation potential in deep space exploration, participants participated in roundtables, technical seminars, and high-level conversations.

Adnan AlRais, Assistant Director General of the Space Operations and Exploration Sector, and Amer AlSayegh AlGhaferi, Assistant Director General of the Aerospace Engineering Sector, represented MBRSC in important talks with international specialists. Participants participated in two days of strategic discussions covering lunar mobility, power infrastructure, logistics for future missions, and core exploration capabilities.
