Emirates Airline has landed in Scotland’s capital for the first time since 2020. The renowned Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo welcomed the Emirates Boeing 777.
Emirates’ ninth UK destination is Edinburgh. The daily service, which will supplement the airline’s current A380 daily journey there, will offer customers 14 weekly flights to and from Glasgow.
The UK is one of our most important markets, and we’re proud to reinstate our footprint in Scotland – a country that visitors from all over the world love,” stated Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates. Customers in Scotland can enjoy an enhanced onboard travel experience, starting with our Boeing 777 before our eagerly awaited A350 arrival.
He continued that with 14 weekly flights to and from the nation, travelers can now effortlessly connect to well-known long-haul locations like Thailand, Australia, and, of course, the energetic city of Dubai.
In addition to supporting additional industries throughout Scotland, Kazim said, “the ample cargo capacity will also help businesses throughout the region access international markets more quickly to meet demand by providing more efficient and reliable transport solutions.
