The US will charge a lower Reciprocal Tariff, lowering it from 25% to 18%, as Modi had asked. This will help END THE WAR in Ukraine, which is going on right now and killing thousands of people every week! In a Truth social post, Trump indicated that the tariffs on India would be lower.
Trump also said that Modi promised to buy more than $500 billion worth of US goods, including energy, technology, agriculture, and other things. Modi said it was “great to talk to my dear friend” and congratulated Trump for a trade accord between the two countries.”Made in India” goods will now have a lower duty of 18%, Modi said in a post on X. He also said he was looking forward to working closely with the US President.
