Along with the first generation of Emiratis who finished their education in Kuwait, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and UAE Minister of Defense, met a group of Emirati students attending Kuwaiti colleges and institutions. Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the State of Kuwait’s Minister of Defense, was present at the meeting, which took place on Wednesday at the UAE-Kuwait Media event at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

The forum is a part of the “UAE & Kuwait: Brothers Forever” week, which will take place throughout all emirates from January 29 to February 4, 2026. In addition to highlighting the future prospects for bilateral relations and commemorating the historical, cultural, and humanitarian milestones that have united the two countries through decades of cooperation and exchange, the forum features strategic dialogues with notable diplomatic, cultural, and athletic figures.

Sheikh Hamdan and Kuwait’s Minister of Defense had cordial discussions with attendees during the meeting, hearing about their experiences studying in Kuwait and how their educational path shaped their professional skills, personal growth, and academic values. Sheikh Hamdan commended Kuwaiti educational institutions for hosting Emirati students and giving them solid academic foundations over a number of decades. He claimed that the common school experience helped nurture Emirati talent who subsequently aided in the growth of the United Arab Emirates and acted as a powerful bridge to create personal and cultural ties.
