Senior Pakistani musicians and emerging talents united for an unforgettable evening at Umeed 2025, a music-filled event celebrating hope and purpose. Organized by the Dubai Chapter of The Citizens Foundation (TCF), the concert aimed to raise awareness and support for education initiatives benefiting underprivileged children in Pakistan.
The event attracted a packed audience of music lovers from the Pakistani community and beyond. The night opened with an emotional performance by Shae Gill, widely known as the Pasoori Girl, whose soulful vocals set a heartfelt tone through both orchestral and acoustic renditions. Her performance captured the audience’s attention and beautifully introduced the theme of hope and giving back.
Next on stage was Hassan Raheem, who electrified the atmosphere with his lively beats and engaging presence. His energetic set had the crowd dancing and singing along, reflecting his popularity among younger listeners. The evening’s highlight came when Faisal Kapadia, legendary ex-member of Strings and TCF Brand Ambassador, delivered a nostalgic performance featuring timeless Strings tracks that rekindled memories for fans. The night culminated in a special moment when Faisal joined Hassan and Shae on stage for a medley of classic Strings songs, symbolizing generational unity within Pakistan’s music scene.
